Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Center with the Irish Sopranos. This beautiful trio of classically trained Irish colleens hails from Cork, Tralee and Wexford and has attracted major media notices from both sides of the Atlantic. When featured on PBS, their rendition of “Danny Boy”received a standing ovation. Known for their unique sound and innovative three-part harmonies, The Irish Sopranos bring a wealth of experience from all musical platforms.

For more than 50 years, the Civic Youth Orchestra has provided excellence in orchestral training to San Diego’s gifted young musicians. Civic Youth Orchestra, a non-profit organization, gives young people the opportunity to study and perform the world’s greatest orchestral works under the guidance of experienced teachers and conductors. The program includes an intermediate orchestra, an advanced intermediate ensemble, a primary string orchestra, a wind ensemble, a symphonic orchestra and the advanced full symphony orchestra. Come and enjoy an afternoon with these gifted musicians.

Starring The Diamonds, Original Coaster Leon Hughes and his group, Danny & The Juniors, Dodie Stevens, Drifters Tribute Group, comedy host Scott Wood and American Gold Band. Take a trip down memory lane to the 1950s and 60s, when fingers snapped and toes tapped to the sounds of doo wop music. Enjoy hits of the era including “Under the Boardwalk,” “Yakety Yak,” “Charlie Brown” and “This Magic Moment.” “Best of Doo Wop” stars five groups devoted to doo wop era music and is certain to have you dancing in the aisle.
