Settled in a valley along the coastal mountains of Southern California, Escondido lies 30 miles northeast of San Diego and 100 miles south of Los Angeles. A truly unique venue, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido includes a 404-seat theater, 1,523-seat concert hall, contemporary art museum, full-service conference center and banquet facility, and art and educational studios that serve the youngest members of our community.
All of our venues are available to rent and have hosted a variety of events ranging from live performances with national touring companies and orchestral concerts, to local dance productions and community theater groups. Corporate presentations and lectures take place on our stages and artists utilize our Concert Hall and Center Theater for rehearsals, and video and audio recordings. Meeting planners host elegant dinners on our stages and amaze their guests with the dramatics of our theatrical environment. The Center’s experienced, dedicated staff ensures the quality and ease of production from staging to guest services.
The Museum, Art and Education Studios and the Conference Center also provide unique and diverse options for private events.
